Professor Young Recommends
A reading list
The Reader, Harold Knight, 1910
Dear Readers,
I keep a running list of book recommendations (mostly but not exclusively feminist lit) to share with my students and with people in the Burned Haystack community. The list is in no particular order, is comprised of books I’ve actually read, and is constantly evolving and expanding (if you’re into this, save this link because I update it regularly so that changes will be live, but it won’t generate a new email every time I edit it).
Happy Reading! ~Jennie ❤️📚

Thanks! Can we share our recommendations? I'd add Wayward, by Emilia Hart
I just finished Lindy West's new book, Adult Braces. It's more personal than her other books but still laugh out loud funny (how does she do that??). In it she takes a road trip to come to terms with herself and her marriage. And she comes to some very interesting conclusions.
