I think I'm a smart cookie as a rule, but I feel as though I've learned enough from the BHDM for it almost to qualify as another post-secondary degree. Holy crow! It's beyond useful. It's fascinating, energizing, applicable across the board to communications written and spoken and virtual and heck, it's just all-around GOOD GOODS, as my mom used to call anything valuable.

I’ve enjoyed following along while you’ve named these patterns for women. And I’ve LOVED seeing how your account has grown, your message is timely. Little boys—you’re on notice.

I'm so excited! Your book launch celebration in Milwaukee is the same day I'm flying back from visiting my daughter in DC. I'll be flying into Madison so I'll just hop over to Milwaukee after I land and extend my trip a day, rather than driving back to La Crosse. And it will give me an excuse to see my son who lives in Milwaukee as well! I better let him know that I'm sleeping on his couch that night. 😂

Oh my goodness, thank you! I'm excited to meet you in person! ❤️

Pre-ordered and waiting breathlessly for the book to arrive. And please come to Boston in the springtime! There's a great community here waiting for you.

Jennie Young's avatar

Aww, I love that song, and I do hope there will be a Boston event! Nothing booked there yet, but it's still early! Thank you for pre-ordering 🥰

It’s also on Kobo, for those of us who left Kindle: https://kobo.com/en/ebook/burn-the-haystack

I am not on the apps anymore since my 3rd time trying them, followed by a terrible Facebook date. BUT I have learned so much from you, Jennie and all the Haystackers....thank you! In my case, the method is helpful in other areas and I appreciate this knowledge being out there for women to have a chance if they want it ❤️

I pre-ordered your book on Amazon Canada and tried to sign up for the virtual launch but it is only open to US residents. Any chance you can open it up to international readers? (That is as long as Canada remains a sovereign state apart from the US 😂)

Pre-ordered and eagerly awaiting its arrival! Thank you so much for the invaluable work you do.

Is it possible to buy the book in PDF format? I'm from Argentina, in South America.

Hi! Where can I find this method? I’ve pre-ordered the book and am a part of the FB group as well. Thank you 🙏

When will the celebrations hit NYC?

I just adore you Jennie. Thank you for your all round unapologetic bada$$ery. I'm a Brit living in Australia and it's so fascinating to me to see the profiles and corresponding patterns exist world over (or at least in the US, where I understand most of the content is derived, UK and Australia). Anyway, serious question, given Hinge (and, I believe, Bumble) don't seem to actually allow you to BTB, what are your thoughts on the serious application of your approach? I've tried removing and reporting and yet the men are recycled time after time, so it feels the algorithm isn't learning what I want or even providing me with fresh profiles. I know this has been discussed in your FB group but how does one navigate this? Thank you for everything. I wish you (and Pat, and the gang) great happiness.

I actually wrote a piece about that -- I don't think it's going to be a concern, and this one explains why (but I get why you are worried!): https://burnedhaystack.substack.com/p/are-you-worried-that-men-are-going

Carly's avatar

I find men prefer to make up their mind regardless of the proof. I had a guy friend who asked me to edit his dating profile. After 3 hours of work, he dismissed my efforts. Never again!

I wouldn't worry about that. There are actually some men in the BHDM Facebook page. They boast that they use fake women's profiles to join. And then they post their impressions on Burned Haystack copycat pages. You think they learned anything from being in the group? Absolutely not! All they do is complain about how we are all man-eaters.
